To Whom It May Concern

I have known Wendy Wendt for almost two years.  I purchased a puppy from her in January of 2007.  When I called on the ad for the pup, she informed me that she would only sell on a limited registration basis.  As I do breed dogs I obviously wanted a full registration, after a long phone conversation with several questions being asked both ways, she requested references as to my capabilities of being a breeder, she did her homework and called me back to tell me that she would place the pup with me and give full registration.  Upon arrival to pick up my pup she had a very professional folder with complete information on the pup from the date/time of birth along with birth weight and weekly updates on the pups growth. She gave me information on the breed along with a lot of other information.  When I arrived at her home I was greeted by all of her corgis happily living in the home with the family.  She took me to the puppy room, I found it very clean and orderly, with ample food and water available to the pups, all puppies were clean and very happy to see people.  Well socialized, cleaned and groomed.  I spent an hour talking to Wendy, getting to know her and finding out that she was new to this breed but had definitely done her homework and did not go into this blindly.
I regularly talk to Wendy to this day and anytime anything comes up on the breed or about dogs and breeding in general she is right up there and has the information.
I am very happy with my female that I purchased from Wendy.  She is a quality corgi with nice size and bone structure and I'm sure will produce very nice pups for me in the future.
If I ever need or want another corgi to add to my collection, I would not hesitate to contact Wendy and buy from her again.

Sincerely
Kim Wood

We purchased Basso (a.k.a. Happy) on August 3rd, 2008… THE DAY AFTER WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW HOME!!!  Needless to say, in the midst of the mass chaos, Basso was a trooper!  Especially for only being 13 weeks old!
As far as Tim and I are concerned, as long as there are Wendt Worth Corgi’s, we’ll be owning one (if not more)!  We are over the moon impressed and happy with him and I have yet to see a puppy that compares to his body and stature.  When you look at the AKC website or any other breed websites – those dogs look exactly like Wendy’s… strong, thick and healthy!  Looking at her females and males, I don’t know how she’d ever breed a bad puppy!
Basso graduated his puppy class on October 1st, 2008 and Wendy has been with us the entire way.  Purchasing Basso from her has been much more than buying from a breeder, she’s made it like buying from a friend!  We have such an incredible, healthy, happy puppy and we have her to thank for that.
We are hoping to purchase our next puppy from her next summer after our wedding and bring home Basso a baby brother (of the 4-legged sorts)!

With much pride and joy,
Jamie Palmer

Dear Wendy,

Words can not describe how happy I am with Zoey! She is a fun loving, caring puppy who just loves giving corgi kisses. I am very thankful to have found you when I was looking to get a puppy. Over the millions of questions I have constantly asked you responded to each and every one of them with above and beyond answers. You take such great care of your animals it is overwhelmingly impressive usually more than twice a week you gave me an update on how the pups were doing via e-mail (including pictures!). Visiting the the whole pack of low riders was a blast and how well trained your dogs are ceases to amuse me! When I took Zoey to the vet for her vaccination our Veterinarian not only complimented Zoey for being in excellent health but said that you are a great breeder and was extremely impressed on the folder that you gave me. What started from being business turned into a friendship and you have made our family very happy and I can not thank you enough. If I ever want another corgi (one is never enough) I will undoubtedly be coming back to you!

Your Friend,

Wendy is VERY knowledgeable of the breed and her "parents" are top of the line! Also, when we got Toby from her, she had already begun working with him on command training. It took me one day to potty train him! He had an accident or two within the next couple of weeks, but it was our fault not his...not paying attention when we should have been.

Wendy makes herself available even after you bring the pup home. She has turned in to a good friend!! This is not just a "business" to her, she personalizes herself with each individual wanting to purchase one of her pups and each pup she breeds, which, in itself, is very unique to find in a breeder. She doesn't just "give" them away to just anyone...it's actually an honor for her to consider letting you have one of her pups because she is very particular that they are going to a good home.

If you decide to bring one of her low riders home, you will not be disappointed!!

“I've known Wendy for the past two years and do not hesitate to recommend her. She has a passion for Corgi's and improving the breed. She is open to learning and has gone out of her way to learn from some of the most knowledgeable and experienced in the industry. Along with striving to improve her breeding program she also has worked to get her dogs into the ring. I had the pleasure of showing one of her dogs and can say that her dedication to training and care of her dogs is second to no one.”

“Wendy Wendt is an owner breeder of Pembroke Welsh Corgis. As a fellow Corgi owner, I've had a chance to observe her operation as a breeder. She produces well bred, well raised Corgis for pet and show homes. Her puppies are raised in a home atmosphere and given the best of care. I'd recommend her if you're looking for a quality Corgi.”

Wendy and I are part of a network of Pembroke Welsh Corgi owners/enthusiasts and I have been extremely impressed with her knowledge of the breed and the excellence of her breeding program. She takes great care to ensure the quality of her dogs by testing for breed specific disorders, socializing the puppies by including them in all activities of her home and caring for the general health of all of her dogs. She is a responsible breeder and as such carefully screens potential owners of her puppies for their forever homes. She also takes the time to educate potential owners of the challenges they may face with corgis so that they are prepared and can make the right decision about owning a corgi. Wendy is also my "go to" person when I have questions about behavior issues, health and/or grooming questions. Wendy truly loves this breed and it shows in every aspect of her life and her breeding program.

After experiencing how much Wendt Worth Corgis cares about the breed, their dogs and the families they serve, I am confident that they are among the best breeders in the world. The individual time and attention paid to each puppy, and the planning that goes into each litter, ensures that their Corgis have the best possible future, whether as show dogs or pets.” March 6, 2011
